PADI Certification Classes and Specialties |

PADI Open Water Diver certification has 2 parts: Part 1: Classroom and Pool Dives Part 2: Certification Dives Underwater Safaris offers a variety of programs to complete Scuba Part 1. Because of our heated in-store pool, we can offer classes throughout the year unaffected by Chicago’s varying weather. Programs include: Weeknight, Weekend, Private, Semi-private and for the experienced diver looking to complete the program quickly the SLAM intensive day program. Group and Private Certification Dives are done locally from late May through mid October. Private Dives are offered off season weather permitting. |

A PADI Divemaster assists instructors, supervises diving activities for certified divers, can teach snorkeling , skin diving, and scuba tune-ups. Our self-paced program allows for independent study and test taking. See store for further details. |
